Minimum Academic and Professional Qualifications:

Grade 12
Relevant ICT Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with specialization in Networks or similar
Certifications: A+, N+, MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, and CCDA ASA Firewalls

Minimum experience Required:

At least Five (5 years of working experience as a Network Administrator in IT operations
At least 3-5 years of Namibian Banking ICT Experience.
ICT experience within the Financial Service industry will be a distinct advantage.
Excellent knowledge of LAN’s and WAN’s.
Excellent knowledge of Switches, Routers and Firewall configurations.
Understand IPSec Encryption and key management
Knowledge of payment industry regulations/standards: PCI DSS
Knowledge/Experience of the National Payment System will be an added advantage
Attention to detail & Logical Thinking
Excellent communication skills, including report writing.
Analytical thinking and results-driven.
Problem-Solving skills
