Cadet Constable	Minimum requirements: An eligible candidate must: Be in possession of an authentic Grade 12 NSSCO/H or Grade 11 Certificate (New Curriculum) School Certificate with twenty five (25) points or higher from six (6) subjects, including English with “E” symbol or higher; Be a Namibian citizen; Be between 18 and 35 years old; Furnish proof of his or her age by means of a certified copy of the Namibian Identity Document (ID); Be free from mental or physical defects, disease or infirmity which will probably interfere with the proper execution of police duties; Be willing to submit himself or herself to a complete medical checkup, which also includes physical examination; Be willing to undergo a pregnancy test, in case of female applicants; Allow his or her fingerprints to be taken to determine previous convictions; Not have been convicted of any offence or have a pending case under Schedule 1 and must have a good character; Be prepared to take the declaration of accession to office, as contained in Schedule A of the Police Regulations; Have good communication skills and good command of the official language; Be prepared to undergo police training; Be prepared to be deployed anywhere, even in remote areas away from home or place of origin; Be prepared to undergo written and physical tests; Heavy Duty (C1, CE) driver’s license will serve as an advantage
