Superintendent: Security
  • Grade 12 or current NSSCO with 20 points over 5 subjects.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or a B Tech Degree in Security Risk Management, Emergency Management or equivalent recognized qualification.
  • 8 years’ security operational experience within the mining industry of which 3 years should have been in a managerial capacity.
  • An Honours Degree will be an added advantage.
  • Asset/Emergency/Risk Management systems experience and application.
  • Valid Code B/BE Driver’s License.
Artisan: Electrician
  • Grade 12 or current NSSCO with 20 points over 5 subjects.
  • A recognized Trade Diploma/Certificate in Electrical.
  • 3 years post trade experience as an Electrician in a maintenance environment.
  • Experience in a plant/mining maintenance environment.
  • Broad general knowledge of the Electrical Trade and excellent working knowledge of Electrical equipment.
  • Knowledge of diagnoses, fault finding and repair.
  • Interpretation of Technical Drawings and Schematics.
  • Knowledge of statutory requirements related to the trade.
  • Sound knowledge of SSHERQ procedures and standards.
  • MS Office programmes: Excel, Word, Outlook, PPT, and Project.
  • Valid Code B/BE Driver’s License.
Senior Officer: Wellness
  • Grade 12 or current NSSCO with 20 points over 5 subjects.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or Psychology /and or a formal qualification as a Primary Health Care Nurse.
  • Certificate in Counselling & Certificate in HIV/AIDS management will be an added advantage.
  • 5 years’ experience in Employee Wellness.
  • Experience in health education and promotion planning and evaluation, and delivering healthcare information, activities, programs and services will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in a mining environment will be an added advantage.
  • Registration with the Health Professionals Council of Namibia.
  • Valid Code B/BE Driver’s License.
